Julie Biddlecombe-Brown, Curator - Raby Castle

I have been a member of the TEG committee for seven years and became Secretary three years ago. I have worked on a wide range of exhibitions over the last 25 years, becoming more involved with touring exhibitions in my former role as Exhibitions Curator at Durham University (Palace Green Library) 2010-2019. In this role our galleries were built to accommodate touring exhibits and exhibitions under the Government Indemnity Scheme and I bring broad experience of working with the scheme as a lender and partnership working. I am passionate about interpretation and engagement, and have a particular interest in the responsible interpretation and presentation of challenging histories.
