TEG Connects 2024

Our annual TEG Connects event was held in Coventry on 17 April and again proved popular, with delegates and stand holders representing a wide range of organisations and individuals across the sector.

Sessions this year focussed on topics including Environmental Sustainability and Inclusion. Caro Howell, Director-General at Imperial War Museum gave some insight into how IWC approach the curation of sensitive or potentially controversial subjects in an exhibitions. Our afternoon panel session included a lively discussion between Lorraine Finch, Chair of the ICON Sustainability Group, Elise Foster Vander Elst, Head of Exhibitions and Environmental Lead at Design Museum London, and Nadine Romaniszyn, Registrar, Science Museum, looking at ways to measure and reduce the environmental impact of exhibitions.

The event also showcased some of our delegates’ new and developing exhibitions that will be touring in the coming months during our Share session. One-to-one advice sessions were also booked up.

Thank you to our supporters Momart and Constantine who, as well as supporting the event, also worked with us to provided five bursaries for TEG Connects.

We are already looking ahead to TEG Connects 2025 which will mark TEG’s 40th anniversary!
